As a warm-up for this afternoon game Clontarf Hosted a Game between some of its most senior playing members against a New-Zealand team composed of visiting and longer term staying New Zealanders.
The game was great fun with both team scoring some lovely tries. The banter on the sideline between “visitors” and hosts. Unfortunately for the Clontarf Faithful at the and New Zealand wins…

Clontarf Struggled to Draw the Game After conceding two tries But the Warriors Fought on to score a late penalty to take the game.

First A Happy birthday to the Youthful Lansdowne Lad.
Clontarf Struggled a strong lansdowne side but managed to Get over a 7 point deficit. Lansdowne made to many mistakes with the line close and even over the line. Clontarf then sealed the win going to the auld mauling solution.
The Final score was 23-15.

Clontarf hosted the J1 from Trinity this afternoon.
Some early try saw Clontarf pull away relatively easily but indiscipline cost them cohesion and broke their momentum.
Trinity threw everything at Clontarf but could not enough points on the board.
The Bonus try came late in the second Half for the host , the score ended 25 -14 for Clontarf.

Castle Avenue was busy to host the league leaders on Friday night.
Clear sky a a gusty wind Made the proceeding entertaining. The Host clearly up for it with some big hits dished all around the park and a dominant scrum. The Lineout faired well with 2 good steals. The Backs defended very well but could not get the breaks they were Hoping for in Attack.
Final score 25 to 16 for Clontarf.
