Clontarf Yong Munster

Clontarf first team played Young Munster in a Pleasantly dry and mild November Saturday.

The host ambushed Young munster straight from the kickoff with what can be described as the fastest try of the AIL this year.

From the Young Munster Kick off the ball was passed to Michael McGrath who ran through a few defenders before kicking ahead, a second kick brought the ball  under the posts for Michael to dive on it.

This seemed to put Clontarf to sleep and the First half then settled into an exchange of penalty kick.

The second Half started with The Clontarf players regaining the early impetus and when the Scrum started to make serious damage to Young Munster you could be sure the hosts where not going to let this game go. The game ended 46 – 28.
